take solace in our biographies

Every story has characters. Our's has a couple.

Take Solace is an indie rock band based near and around the Milwaukee area. We play a breed of indie folk rock that combines keyboards, mandolin, banjo, brass and electric rock guitar.

All of us have BS degrees in various realms of study so we can say that we "know" what we are doing. We also have day jobs; so we write songs and play shows for the love of the music not for the monetary compensation (although that is a nice touch and we won't shy away from any tips).
